We process our chickens on site under state safety inspection and keep our chicken frozen until sale. These chickens live outdoors where they can scratch for bugs, seeds, and grasses, and are moved to fresh pastures every single morning.

We raise newly hatched chicks in our barn for 2 weeks, keeping them safe from predators and weather until they are old enough to go out to pasture.

At 2 weeks old, we move our chickens out to our pastures where they can forage for bugs, grass, seeds, and lounge around in the sunshine.

Every morning we move our chickens to a new area of pasture, so that they have fresh areas to forage and don’t oversaturate one spot of soil with manure.

At 8 weeks old, we humanely process and package our chickens on-site ourselves through a poultry exemption license from the state of NC.
Rather than cramped and stationary chicken houses, our chickens are raised outdoors in wire mesh shelters that allow for daily sunshine, fresh air, and new grass under their feet every day.

Our chickens are fed a 100% organic certified and non-GMO feed, milled right here in North Carolina. Instead of cheap feeds like cornmeal and soybean meal made from the byproducts of oil production, our feed contains whole cracked corn kernels, and whole roasted soybeans...which means no solvents or high linoleic acid levels.

We use a white vinegar solution recommended by the NC MPID during processing rather than a harsh bleach or chlorine solution.

We process and package all of our chickens here on site through a NC poultry exemption, which means less transportation stress for our chickens.

Our chickens are never debeaked, and are never given vaccines, injections, drugs, steroids, sprays, chemicals, or antibiotics.
